CANCELLATION & LATE POLICY
24-Hour Notice: To cancel or reschedule a scheduled driving lesson, the student or parent must notify the instructor at least 24 hours in advance.
Late/No-Show Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice or failure to appear within 15 minutes of the scheduled pickup time, will result in a $25.00 No-Show Fee. No instruction will resume until this fee is paid.
Required Documents: Students enrolled in The Cooperative Driving Academy Behind The Wheel instruction must carry their original, valid Texas Learner License or driver’s license during every driving lesson. If the student fails to bring their permit, the lesson cannot legally take place and will be treated as a late cancellation subject to the No-Show Fee.
REFUND POLICY
Refund computations will be based on the actual number of hours of instruction completed by the student.
If the student terminates the contract before completing all contracted hours, a refund for the remaining unutilized hours will be issued within 30 days, minus a processing administrative fee of $30.00.
If the student cancels the contract within 3 business days (72 hours) of the commencement of contract, the student will receive a full refund within 30 days, minus a $30.00 administrative processing fee.
A full refund will be given within 30 days if The Cooperative Driver School, LLC cancels the contract, fails to accept applicant, or if the student’s enrollment was procured as a result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials of the school, or misrepresentation by the owner or representation of the school.
INo refunds will be given for services or hours already rendered.
TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT
The student has a period of one (1) year from the date of execution to complete the contracted program hours. If the student fails to complete the contracted program hours within 12 months, the contracted program expires and any remaining hours are forfeited unless a written extension is granted by management. We are available to discuss this further.
