Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Cooperative Driver School™ LLC. By accessing our website, scheduling services, or participating in any driving instruction offered by The Cooperative Driver School™, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or enrolling in our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

2. Services

The Cooperative Driver School™ provides behind-the-wheel driving instruction and related educational services in accordance with Texas laws and regulations.

Our programs are designed to develop drivers through our Four C's:

  • Competence

  • Confidence

  • Cooperation

  • Character

Completion of any program does not guarantee that a student will pass any state driving examination or receive a driver's license.

3. Student Eligibility

Students are responsible for ensuring they meet all applicable Texas requirements for participation, including possessing any required learner license or permit before behind-the-wheel instruction begins.

Parents or legal guardians must complete required forms for students under 18 years of age.

4. Scheduling

Lessons are scheduled by appointment only.

Appointments may be made through our online scheduling system or by contacting The Cooperative Driver School directly.

Lesson availability is subject to instructor schedules, weather conditions, and vehicle availability.

5. Payments

Payment is due according to the selected program or payment plan.

We accept approved electronic payment methods and other forms of payment as indicated at the time of booking.

Outstanding balances must be paid before additional lessons may be scheduled.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand that schedules sometimes change.

To avoid cancellation fees, students should provide at least 24 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling a lesson.

Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, missed appointments, or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of that lesson, unless otherwise required by law or waived by The Cooperative Driver School.

The Cooperative Driver School reserves the right to reschedule lessons due to weather, vehicle maintenance, instructor illness, emergencies, or other circumstances affecting safety.

7. Student Responsibilities

Students agree to:

  • Arrive on time for scheduled lessons.

  • Possess all required permits or licenses.

  • Wear appropriate footwear and clothing for driving.

  • Refrain from using mobile devices while driving unless directed by the instructor.

  • Follow all instructor directions.

  • Treat instructors, vehicles, and others with courtesy and respect.

Students may not participate in instruction while under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or medications that impair driving ability.

8. Safety

Safety is our highest priority.

The instructor may terminate or postpone a lesson if weather conditions, road conditions, vehicle concerns, unsafe behavior, illness, or other circumstances create an unreasonable safety risk.

If a lesson is ended due to unsafe student conduct, refunds are provided only if required by law or by the written refund policy.

9. Vehicle Use

Students agree to operate training vehicles only under instructor supervision and in accordance with all applicable traffic laws.

Students are expected to exercise reasonable care while operating school vehicles.

10. Refund Policy

Refund requests will be evaluated according to the school's written refund policy and applicable Texas law.

Any non-refundable fees will be clearly disclosed before enrollment.

11. Limitation of Liability
