**For TEENS, aged 14 -17, starting the journey to becoming a licensed driver. For TEENS who have not completed a state-approved online, parent taught, or classroom driver education course and do not have a Learner’s Permit.

Included:

• State-approved online driver education

• Dedicated and patient One on One attention

• Curbside Pickup from Home or School.

• 7 hours (meets state required minimum of 7 hours) of Behind-the-Wheel lessons for success using The Cooperative Driver Method™ . Every skill required in Texas will be covered within the seven lessons below:

  Lesson 2: Basic Vehicle Control

  Lesson 3: Vision, Scanning, and Awareness

  Lesson 4: Lane Position & Steering Precision

  Lesson 5: Speed & Space Management

  Lesson 6: Intersections, Turning & Lane Changes ‍

  Lesson 7: The Complete Cooperative Challenge

• Seven (7) (minimum state requirement) hours of observation.

• Progress evaluations after every lesson.

• Parent Communication with Suggestions for Success. (**After successful completion of the program, the State of Texas requires 30 logged hours of practice with a licensed driver over the age of 21).

• Road test preparation

• Mock DPS evaluation, near BF Terry Blvd. (**After 6 months with Learner’s Permit and 30 logged hours of practice with a licensed driver over the age of 21).

• Cooperative Driving Academy Graduation Kit

• Use of Training Vehicle for DPS Road Test, if requested. (**Check availability before scheduling test.)
